CLEAR INFORMATION, BEFORE YOU MOVE

Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy

How to request a change, cancel a booking and discuss an eligible refund.

Last updated:

1. Who this policy applies to

This policy applies to house shifting, office relocation and separately agreed assistance booked with Praveen Manchu Consulting under the brand shiftting.com. Read it together with the written quotation and booking confirmation for your move.

An enquiry or quotation request does not reserve a date or confirm a booking. Any booking-specific cancellation charges and payment conditions must be disclosed before you agree to them. Nothing in this policy removes rights available under applicable law.

2. How to request cancellation or a date change

Contact +91 93471 07005 or email info@shiftting.com as soon as your plans change. You may also use the WhatsApp number on your booking conversation. State whether you want to cancel or reschedule, and include your name, booking reference if available, original date and pickup and delivery locations.

For rescheduling, include your preferred new date or date range. A phone conversation should be followed by a written message so the request and agreed outcome can be recorded. A requested replacement date is not confirmed until the team agrees it with you.

3. Rescheduling your move

A revised date depends on route, vehicle and team availability, building access and any separately arranged assistance. The team will discuss available options with you.

Changes in route, inventory, weight, packing, access, timing or additional work may change the price. Any revised charges and arrangements must be explained and agreed in writing before the change is confirmed. The same booking conditions cannot be assumed for a different scope.

4. If you cancel a booking

Contact the team before the scheduled move where possible. The team will review your booking, payments and any work or commitments already made.

This website does not set a standard cancellation percentage, a fixed cancellation window or an automatic non-refundable deposit. Any proposed deduction must have a lawful basis, relate to the booking and be explained with reference to charges disclosed and agreed before booking. Ask for an itemised explanation if a deduction is proposed.

An amount is not automatically forfeited simply because you ask to cancel. The refundable balance, if any, is assessed against the agreed service, relevant records and applicable law.

5. If we cannot perform the agreed service

If we need to cancel or materially change the booking, we will contact you to discuss the situation. Alternatives may be offered, but you do not have to accept a replacement date or materially different service without agreement.

Where the agreed service is not provided, payments for the unprovided service will be reviewed for refund, subject to the circumstances and applicable law. This does not limit any other remedy you may be entitled to seek.

6. Work already started or partly completed

If packing, handling, transport or separately arranged assistance has already begun, identify what has been completed and what remains. The team will explain how completed work and any relevant agreed commitments affect the account.

Work not provided should not be described as completed work. If you dispute the scope, quality or proposed deduction, ask for a written explanation and provide the relevant booking or payment records.

7. Refund review and payment

For a refund request, provide the booking details, amount paid, payment date, receipt or transaction reference and the reason for your request. Share only the information necessary to identify the transaction; do not send passwords, OTPs, card PINs or full payment card credentials.

The team will review the request and communicate the outcome, any proposed deduction and the eligible refund amount. Once a refund is approved, ask for its expected processing date and confirmation reference. No universal processing period is stated because the payment method, provider and circumstances can differ.

Where practicable, refunds will be made through the original payment method. Any alternative arrangement should be verified and agreed with you. Bank or payment-provider processing may affect when the amount appears in your account.

8. Delays, access problems and changed circumstances

If a delay or an access problem affects your move, contact the coordinator promptly and discuss whether the move can proceed, needs a revised schedule or should be cancelled. Any additional work or cost must be explained and agreed.

A delay, weather event or travel disruption does not by itself create an automatic forfeiture of your payment or remove rights under applicable law. The circumstances and the agreed service will be reviewed.

9. Questions and unresolved requests

For an unresolved cancellation or refund request, email info@shiftting.com with your earlier correspondence, booking reference and the outcome you are requesting. You can also call +91 93471 07005.

You remain free to approach a competent consumer authority, forum or court available under applicable law. This policy does not require you to waive those rights or accept compulsory private arbitration.
