CLEAR INFORMATION, BEFORE YOU MOVE

Terms & Conditions

The basis for website enquiries, moving quotations and the arrangements you confirm with our team.

Last updated:

1. About these terms

These terms describe use of the Shiftting.com website and the basis for discussing house shifting and office relocation. They should be read with the written quotation and booking details agreed for your particular move.

This website is operated by Praveen Manchu Consulting under the brand shiftting.com. Before payment or booking, request the contracting business details and invoice information relevant to your service. Nothing here removes rights or remedies available under applicable law.

2. Enquiries and quotations

Submitting an enquiry, opening WhatsApp, sending a message or receiving an initial estimate does not by itself confirm a booking or reserve a moving date. Availability, the service scope and booking arrangements require confirmation with the team.

A quotation is based on the information supplied, including inventory, route, access and requested tasks. Provide accurate details and notify the team of changes. A material change may require a revised quotation, which should be explained and agreed before additional work is undertaken.

3. Service scope and exclusions

The two services described on this website are house shifting and office relocation. Agree the tasks for your move in writing, including any packing materials, packing, handling, transport, unloading, placement, dismantling, reassembly or unpacking.

On-demand warehouse arrangements and plumber, electrician or technician assistance are available on request. Confirm availability, scope, any third-party arrangements and additional charges in your quotation. Vehicle transport, specialist equipment handling and IT disconnection or setup require separate confirmation and are not automatic inclusions.

Photographs are illustrative unless expressly identified otherwise. A city listed on the website is a location for enquiries, not a promise of availability for every route or date or a claim that a branch exists there.

4. Your responsibilities

Provide a reasonably complete inventory and identify fragile, valuable, heavy, oversized or unusual items before the quotation is agreed. Explain floor levels, lift dimensions, stairs, parking, entry restrictions and access at both properties.

Arrange necessary permissions, keys and an authorised contact at pickup and delivery. Clearly identify items that must remain behind. Keep essential medicines, personal documents, money, jewellery and other portable valuables in your own custody unless another arrangement is expressly agreed.

For office moves, assign a coordinator and arrange data backups, equipment shutdown and technical reconnection through your IT team or an agreed specialist. Do not include prohibited or hazardous items without prior lawful arrangements.

5. Charges and payment

Pricing is based on the type, quantity and weight of goods, moving distance, packing requirements, building access and agreed assistance. A 1 BHK, 2 BHK, 3 BHK or office description helps explain the move; the quotation is based on the actual goods and work involved rather than a flat container charge. Confirm the total payable amount, applicable taxes, inclusions, exclusions, any advance and the payment schedule in your written quotation or booking confirmation. This page does not introduce an advance percentage, cancellation fee or other fixed charge.

Request clarification of any possible additional costs before booking. Verify payment instructions through the published contact details and keep your quotation, invoice and payment records.

6. Scheduling, access and delays

On-time delivery is part of our moving service. Agree the pickup and delivery schedule for the actual route, inventory and access conditions. A preferred date entered in a form is a request. Phased moves, weekend work and out-of-hours requests need specific confirmation.

Building restrictions, travel conditions, weather, access problems or other events can affect a schedule. If arrangements change, communicate promptly and agree the practical next steps. This clause does not excuse obligations or remedies imposed by applicable law.

7. Cancellation, rescheduling and refunds

Contact the team as soon as you need to cancel or change a move. Ask for the applicable cancellation, rescheduling and refund conditions before making a payment. No unpublished fee or deadline is created by these website terms.

Any agreed booking conditions must be disclosed to you and remain subject to applicable law. Read the Cancellation, Rescheduling & Refund Policy for the request process and refund review.

8. Delivery, damage and concerns

Use your inventory to check quantities and visible condition at delivery. Tell the coordinator about missing items, visible damage or outstanding agreed work as soon as reasonably possible and keep photographs and relevant records.

The reporting suggestion above does not create a short contractual claim deadline or remove remedies for a problem discovered later. Contact the team to discuss the facts and the applicable process.

Free goods insurance is included, with cover up to 5% of the goods value. Confirm the declared goods value, insurer, covered risks, exclusions and claim procedure in your written quotation before booking. Read the Damage & Claims Policy for reporting concerns and the insurance review process.

9. Privacy and third-party services

Our website enquiry forms prepare an editable WhatsApp message. You review it and tap Send; the website form does not itself confirm a booking. The Privacy Policy explains the information used for enquiries and related website technology.

WhatsApp, external maps, email services and other third-party platforms operate under their own terms. Use those services in accordance with their requirements.

10. Website use and accuracy

Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with its operation or submit deceptive enquiries. Website availability and information may change; confirm move-specific details directly before relying on them for a booking.

Content and branding may not be copied or used in a misleading way. This does not restrict uses permitted by applicable law.

11. Complaints and applicable rights

Raise a service concern with info@shiftting.com or +91 93471 07005. Include your name, route, date, quotation or booking reference if available, and a clear description of the issue.

These terms are intended for services arranged in India and are subject to applicable Indian law. They do not exclude mandatory consumer protections or prevent you from approaching a competent authority, consumer forum or court available under law. No exclusive court location or compulsory arbitration requirement is imposed here.
